Jarkko Ruohola has been a partner in Lukander Ruohola HTO Attorneys at Law in Turku since 1998 and the managing partner of the firm since 2005. He was elected president of the Finnish Bar Association in June 2016 for a four-year term.
Jarkko Ruohola has been the leading lawyer in many complex cross-border and domestic transactions. He has assisted listed Finnish and foreign corporations, venture capital firms and growth entrepreneurs. The parties or target companies of the transactions have in addition to Finland been from Scandinavia, United States, China and several European countries. The targets have included for example technology, food, biotech and clean-tech companies and different kinds of service providers and real estate portfolios.
Ruohola’s regular clients include several of the largest companies in Finland. He gives lectures especially on company law issues and corporate governance and has often served as an arbitrator both in domestic and cross-border arbitration proceedings.
